Delete your Nalam app account or data

Nalam (the clinic app) is published by Consign IT Private Limited (Consign.Tech). There is no separate Nalam account: you sign in to each clinic with the mobile number you registered there. Your medical records belong to the clinic that treated you. Here is how to remove the app’s access, and how to ask for your data to be deleted.

Remove your app sign-in

  1. In the app, open More → Sign out. This deletes the sign-in for that phone and its notification token. Signed-in devices on the same screen signs out any other phone.
  2. To remove a clinic from the app, go to Switch clinic and tap Remove.
  3. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on the phone.

Delete your data

Your visits, prescriptions, results and bills are your clinic’s medical records. Ask the clinic first: use Privacy notice and your rights in the app’s More screen, or the reception desk. Indian law requires clinics to keep some medical and billing records for a minimum period, so the clinic may restrict and later delete them rather than delete them at once; it will tell you what it keeps and why.

You can also write to us at [email protected] with the subject “Nalam data deletion”, the clinic’s name and your registered mobile number. We work it through with the clinic within 30 days.

What is deleted straight away

  • your app sign-ins (device cookies) and the phones registered for notifications.
